Whole Project: Introductory Class (FREE)

You are warmly invited to join Eya on a one-of-a-kind sojourn in 2025 as we embark on Whole, a new musical-artistic-spiritual project centered on living Hildegard von Bingen’s Ordo Virtutum.

This is not just a performance—it’s an immersive experience. It’s a journey into the heart of Hildegard’s visionary music and mysticism, discovering how this medieval masterpiece illuminates our pilgrimage to wholeness.

Over the course of a year, we will gather to live, learn, and contemplate the mythic quest embedded in Hildegard’s monumental work. Together, we’ll walk the archetypal journey of the Soul through her music, exploring its profound relevance to our modern lives.

To me, Ordo Virtutum is more than a precious musical artifact—it’s an archetypal treasure map of the Self, guiding us through the universal journey of the human soul navigating the material world. With the mystical vision of Hildegard as our guide, we’ll embark on a pilgrimage of music and spirit.

Alongside my creative partner, Erin Durrett, we will reframe this work to create a modern resonance, cultivating an expansive, inclusive approach to its religious themes. Our intention is to illuminate the essence of this masterpiece: the Soul’s reunion with its Source—Love.

I’m deeply mindful of Ordo’s 12th-century origins, but I also see an opportunity to engage with its timeless truths in a way that transcends boundaries and connects us all.
