Erin Durrett studied Early Music at the University of Washington with Margriet Tindemans, and the Early Music Institute at the University of British Columbia with Ben Bagby and Barbara Thornton among others, going on to receive her cantorial training at St. James Cathedral in Seattle. 

A founding member of the Seattle Medieval Women’s Choir and now Director of Music Ministries at the Episcopal Church of The Holy Spirit on Vashon Island (Washington state), she has taught Hildegard’s music for over thirty years and in 2022 was invited to teach on Hildegard’s life and works at the International Healing Harp Conference on the Isle of Iona, Scotland.
